About the Institute of Free Economy

The Free Economy Institute (FEI) aims to promote economic freedom.


FEI is a non-profit, nonpartisan, independent think tank engaged in research and educational outreach on economic and social policy.

To respect others and their abilities under free & fair market competition.

To ensure economic freedom through limited governmental power.

To respect Japanese culture and pass knowledge and wisdom to posterity.

FEI activities focus on the following outcomes:

  3. 3.To contribute innovative solutions which eliminate impediments to economic freedom.

  4. 4.To educate and train libertarian thinkers and researchers in free market thinking and libertarian ideas.
